Everybody knows how important good dental care is for maintaining strong, healthy teeth. At Bradley E. Cohn, DDS, we offer personal dental care for the entire family in a warm, friendly setting. Visit us for all your family’s dental care needs, including:Little Boy

Bridges: you are missing a tooth or have a severely damaged tooth that must be removed, Dr. Cohn may recommend a bridge to restore the health and beauty of your smile. Bridgework is permanently attached to the adjoining teeth and is referred to as a fixed restoration, as opposed to removable restorations such as partial dentures. Dr. Cohn would be pleased to evaluate your dental condition and help you determine if bridgework is the best restoration option for your needs.

CEREC,or Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, is a revolutionary development in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. This state-of-the-art system uses computer-imaging technology to produce a high-quality, long-lasting ceramic restoration that perfectly matches the rest of your teeth – right in Dr. Bradley Cohn’s office! With CEREC, you don't have to wait for days or weeks while your crown, filling, or veneer is made in an off-site dental laboratory, nor do we inconvenience you by asking you to return for a second visit to have it placed.

With CEREC, your restoration can be performed in a single session – usually in about an hour. The durable ceramic material looks so natural; it blends beautifully with the rest of your teeth. The speed, quality, and convenience of the CEREC technology make it the perfect choice for any dental patient. Please contact us today to find out more about how CEREC can help you get the smile you've always wanted.

Cosmetic Imaging Crowns: Crowns, sometimes called caps, look and function just like natural teeth. Dr. Cohn may recommend a crown if your tooth has such damage that it cannot hold a filling, or if your tooth is cracked or broken and in danger of injuring the root if left unattended. A crown covers your tooth completely. It fits snugly at the gum line and protects what remains of the natural tooth. Dr. Cohn offers porcelain crowns that match the rest of your teeth, without a dark metal line, and keep your smile looking natural and healthy.

Dentures Partial & Full: With so many advances in modern dentistry, fewer people need to wear full dentures. However, if you have older dentures, or think you may need dentures, new products are available that are incredibly natural, functional, and comfortable.

As people age, dentures can cause wearers to look older than they really are, and can cause pain when chewing. Dr. Cohn can replace worn-out dentures with custom-made, state-of-the-art dentures that blend with your skin, hair, and even eye color. Your dentures will give you a naturally perfect smile, helping you to look years younger. Who needs a plastic surgeon when a new smile gives your face such a wonderful lift?

Endodontics / Root Canal: When you hear the term “root canal,” you may think of a long, uncomfortable, and even painful dental procedure. Well, root canal therapy has earned an erroneous reputation. In most cases, the pain of a damaged tooth is actually much worse than the root canal procedure to correct it!

Root canal therapy may be needed if disease or damage has spread into the pulp of the tooth. Pulp is soft, living tissue deep within the tooth. When it is damaged, the nerves in the tooth respond by sending out strong pain signals. During a root canal procedure, Dr. Cohn will remove all of the damaged pulp, thoroughly clean the remaining tooth area, and seal the tooth with a crown. The "toothache" will be gone and the new crown will restore your smile.

If you still have concerns about root canal therapy, talk to Dr. Cohn. With oral sedation dentistry, a root canal procedure can even be relaxing and comfortable! Please contact our office at (216) 381-6000 to learn more.

Emergency 24-Hour Service: Dr. Cohn offers true 24-Hour Emergency Service. If you or a loved one experiences and accident or a dental emergency Dr. Cohn’s expert team will have you in the office immediately to take care of your dental problems.

Invisaline®: Dr. Cohn offers Invisalign®, an alternative to traditional metal braces. Invisalign® is a dramatically different way to straighten teeth. Using a series of clear, custom-molded, removable retainers, your teeth can be straightened without any metal, bands, or brackets. Over the course of your treatment, as you proceed through your set of retainers, your teeth will gradually move into their new, more attractive position. Many people complete an Invisalign® treatment and achieve a beautiful new smile in only about a year. Best of all, the aligners are removable, so you can eat, drink, and care for your teeth as usual throughout the treatment. No one will even know you are wearing braces!

To learn more about orthodontic treatment with Dr. Cohn, including Invisalign®, please call us today at (216) 381-6000.

Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are an excellent solution to many kinds of dental imperfections. Teeth that are chipped, discolored, weakened, or irregularly shaped can be made stronger and more attractive with dental veneers. During the treatment, ultra-thin shells of extremely durable and natural-looking porcelain are custom-made for you and are laid over your teeth. The translucent nature of the porcelain material means that your veneers will be nearly indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth. The porcelain is also highly stain resistant, allowing your veneers to stay stain free longer. The imperfections in your natural teeth will no longer be visible, and your smile will be more attractive and stronger.

Snoring & Sleep Apnea: Did you know that snoring is more than just a nighttime nuisance? Seventy to ninety million Americans snore. Snoring occurs when the muscles of the mouth and throat relax during sleep. The loose muscles allow the tongue to drop back, narrowing the breathing passage. As air is forced through this smaller opening, the tissues vibrate, producing the snoring sound.

In some cases, the tongue can completely block the throat, cutting off the flow of air. As a result, the oxygen level of the blood drops. As the brain senses the drop in oxygen, it signals the body to awaken. The snorer wakes, gasps for air, gets more oxygen into the bloodstream, and falls back asleep. This cycle repeats throughout the night, up to hundreds of times. This condition is known as obstructive sleep apnea, and it affects over 12 million Americans. Severe cases can even be life threatening.

If you snore, or if you think you may have sleep apnea, Dr. Cohn can help by prescribing an adjustable, comfortable, custom-made appliance. Dental snoring appliances move the lower jaw and tongue forward to keep the airway open during sleep. They are over 70 percent successful in treating snoring and even mild to moderate sleep apnea.

Snoring and sleep apnea can be serious problems. If you or someone you love is suffering, Dr. Cohn can help. Please call his office at (216) 381-6000 today.
